Proposed Wilderness Additions

The Rincon area is the largest roadless area in the western Sierra Nevada and is extremely diverse due to its size. Protecting this area would ensure the preservation of a continuous uninterrupted transition of ecosystems from the drier brushy areas along the Wild and Scenic NF Kern River to the conifer forests of the Kern Plateau.
