The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is home to the world’s oldest living trees, the spectacular ancient bristlecone pines, which live up to 5,000 years. Tree-ring data from both living and dead bristlecones has enabled scientists to reconstruct our planets climatic past back to nearly the last ice age (12,000 years ago).
